What is AI automation in marketing?

AI automation means getting repetitive marketing work done automatically with artificial intelligence and APIs. It isn’t a promise that “AI does everything by itself”. The task is written in plain language, an AI agent carries out the technical part through official APIs, and a human checks and approves the result.

The best example is tracking setup. Sending form, call and WhatsApp clicks to GA4 and ad systems used to mean creating dozens of tags, triggers and variables by hand in Google Tag Manager. The Google Tag Manager API lets you manage accounts, containers, tags, triggers, variables and versions programmatically. In our work, a full tracking setup for one website used to take 2–3 hours; now it takes 10–15 minutes.

Safety is part of the process. Google Tag Manager saves a new container version with every publish, and you can roll back to a previous version if needed. So no change goes live without being checked — and if one does, it can be undone in one step.

AI automation doesn’t replace a measurement strategy: you first need to decide what to measure. That’s the job of our analytics service.

Analytics and tracking

Who is AI automation right for?

01

Teams losing time on reports

The same report is assembled by hand every month: ad account, Excel, slides. We reduce it to one request.

02

Businesses with many sites, and agencies

Fast, error-free tracking setup to the same standard across several websites.

03

Teams waiting on developers

A small measurement change means waiting weeks in a queue. We do it through GTM, without touching the site’s code.

Who it’s not for

If your site has no measurement yet and it’s unclear what you want to measure, you need an analytics setup first. Automation speeds up work that exists; it doesn’t create a strategy that doesn’t.

What’s included in the AI automation service?

In the audit we identify which tasks can be automated and build only the ones that save you real time.

  1. 01

    GTM setup via API

Sending form, call, WhatsApp and purchase events to GA4, Meta and Google Ads.

  2. 02

    A single naming standard

All tags, triggers and events are named the same way — so anyone can understand them later.

  3. 03

    Testing and version notes

Every event is tested in Preview and DebugView, and what changed is written down.

  4. 04

    Automated ad reports

Meta and Google ad results with one request, as a ready table or report.

  5. 05

    Form-to-CRM transfer

Leads from website forms and ads land in the CRM together with their source.

  6. 06

    Lead notifications

An email or message notification to the person responsible when a new lead comes in.

  7. 07

    Bulk content tasks

Repetitive copy work like SEO titles and descriptions for hundreds of pages — with human review.

  8. 08

    Team training

We show your team which tasks to give the AI and how, and hand over a written map of the setup.

Not included

  • Ad campaign management (a separate service)
  • CRM system development (a separate service)
  • Giving customers’ personal data to AI
  • Automatic publishing without human review

Which marketing tasks can be automated?

Not every task is worth automating. The biggest gains are in tasks that repeat regularly and have clear rules.

How a task is carried out

  1. 1
    Step 1

    The task

Written in plain language: “Send form, WhatsApp and call clicks to GA4 and Meta.”

  2. 2
    Step 2

    AI agent

Claude Code builds a plan and creates the tags, triggers and variables via the GTM API.

  3. 3
    Step 3

    Testing

Every event is tested in Preview and DebugView. Any errors are fixed before publishing.

  4. 4
    Step 4

    Publish and log

What changed is written down and a new version is published. If needed, we roll back to the previous version.

What does the price of AI automation depend on?

One-off setup

Setting up tracking, reporting or a lead flow. After setup the system runs on its own, and we train your team to use it.

Monthly support

Ongoing setup and reporting work for new sites, new campaigns and changing needs.

What affects the price

  • The number of websites and ad accounts
  • The number of events to measure
  • Integrations: CRM, notifications, spreadsheets
  • Report frequency and format

We send the exact price in a written proposal after the free audit.

Frequently asked questions

What if the AI makes a mistake?

No change goes straight live. Every event is checked in GTM Preview and GA4 DebugView before publishing. Google Tag Manager keeps a separate version with every publish, so we can return to the previous state if needed.

What access do you need to my accounts?

Editor access to Google Tag Manager and reporting-level access to ad accounts is enough. The accounts stay in your name, and you can remove access when the work is done.

Is data sent to the AI? Is it safe?

The AI only gets the information needed for the task: GTM configuration and ad statistics. Your customers’ names, phone numbers and emails aren’t part of this process.

Which AI tools do you use?

Mainly Anthropic’s Claude Code, together with the official APIs of platforms like Google Tag Manager, GA4 and Meta. The tool is chosen for the task.

How is this different from the analytics service?

The analytics service decides what to measure. AI automation is about getting that work done quickly, to one standard and in a repeatable way. They’re often taken together.

Will my team be able to use it themselves?

Yes. After setup we show them how to prepare a report with one request and which tasks to give the AI.
